CADIA Sanitary ware cermaic wash basins
1.Ceramic washbasin:
From the perspective of the market atmosphere, ceramic washbasins are still the mainstream of the market, occupying more than 85% of the market. The wide variety, economical, and individual characteristics still make many consumers favor.
The choice of ceramic basin mainly depends on the glazed surface and water absorption. The quality of the glaze is related to the stain resistance. A high-quality glaze has extremely small “pores”, smooth and dense, and not easy to get dirty. Generally, it is not necessary to use a strong decontamination product frequently, just wipe it with clean water and a rag. When choosing a ceramic basin, you can observe the reflection of the product surface from the side under strong light; you can also touch the surface with your hand to feel the flatness.
Products with good water absorption rate have low swelling, and the surface is not easy to deform and surface cracking occurs. Therefore, the lower the water absorption rate, the better. The water absorption rate of high-end products is generally less than 3%, and some well-known brands reduce the water absorption rate to 0.5 %, so pay more attention to the manufacturer’s manual when purchasing, and try to choose products with low water absorption.
2.Stainless steel washbasin:
Stainless steel always gives people a sense of fashion, and is loved by young people nowadays. The combination of stainless steel washbasins and other metal accessories in the bathroom is very modern.
Generally, the washbasin is made of solid material. The steel material is also highly extracted, and the surface has to be frosted or mirror electroplated, so the price is not low.
But stainless steel also has an outstanding feature, that is, it is easy to clean, as long as it is flushed with water, it looks fresh. Compared to glass and ceramic washbasins, it is indeed a bit overwhelming to clean. There is nothing special about the purchase, but I am optimistic about the style and understand the materials and maintenance points.
3.Glass washbasin:
With soft lines and unique texture and refraction effects, both color and style are more charming and beautiful than the above two washbasins. However, glass is more delicate and difficult to serve than the other two materials. First of all, it is fragile and not resistant to high temperatures. The wall thickness of glass basins on the market are 19mm, 15mm and 12mm, even the wall thickness of 19mm. The product, its temperature resistance only reaches a relatively high temperature of 80°C, so be very careful when using it, and don’t try to pour boiling water in, otherwise it will burst.
Second is the price. As the cost of glass basins is relatively high from process to design, the price is relatively expensive, which is difficult for general consumers to accept.
The third is maintenance. I think the cleaning of glass basins is very troublesome. In fact, the surface of glass basins treated with special technology is very smooth and not easy to get dirty. On weekdays, the cleaning and maintenance of glass basins is not much different from ordinary ceramic basins. You only need to be careful not to scratch the surface with sharp objects and not to hit with heavy objects. Generally, you cannot use boiling water, scouring pads, steel brushes, strong alkaline detergents, sharp sharp tools, stains and oil stains to clean glass washbasins. It is recommended to use pure cotton rags, neutral detergent, glass cleaning water, etc. for cleaning, so as to maintain the lasting bright as new.
